I work at a bank! – Yeah lol

I’ve been working at Canada’s largest bank for almost 2 years now. At the beginning it seemed like a great part-time job to complement my school-life but since I’ve embarked on the Valhalla Journey the community has been helping me become more financially self-sustainable.

With Rusty helping me out with marketing, Rabbit and Greg with web development, Germ with art and M with PR advice I’ve managed to bring my current work schedule to just a mere 30 hours this month! I expect to eventually phase out from the bank by 2013’s first quarter and depend entirely on the $ I make from my personal skills of teaching, videography and cooking.

I just want to take this opportunity to express how grateful I am to have a group of talented individuals to depend on when I need their particular expertise on issues that will in turn -not only help myself- help the community as a whole. The more each of us follow our hearts and do work we believe is great, the more we all witness the true development that our destiny entails.
